Marraige

Since PatrĂcia and I got married, I've paid more attention to the ring finger of other peoples' left hands. Why is it that there appears to be far more women married than men? I asked PatrĂcia why, and she mentioned that "some" men don't like to wear rings. "Some"? It seems to me about 90%! I've worn my wedding ring every minute of every day (minus about 10 minutes total) since July 16th last year when we got married, and never once have I complained about the weight of it, the chafing, or any other ailments I've suffered from it.

So... what?

Since men seem to do more manual jobs, it's possible that the ring gets damaged or scratched.

Maybe some of those guys without rings are pretending they're not married. Back in my single days women looked not only for a ring on a man but the white (untanned) line proving he was a) married; b) a cheater.
