Shorts

Hi,
These days in Ottawa, it's cold. When I come to work in the morning, it's under 5 degrees celcius. And, when I come home from work in the afternoon, it's warmed up a bit, but usually still under 10 degrees. So why is it that I still see people in shorts? Aren't they for summer? Is it really warmer than I think it is?

Like even I've done in the summer, is wake up in the morning, feel that it's cold outside, but still wear shorts and a t-shirt because, well, it's summer. I know the temperature will rise 20-25 degrees during the day. But lately I wake up, and it's like 2 degrees outside, and I hear on the radio that the high is 9, I don't think about putting on shorts!

Maybe these idiots don't listen to the radio, and think the temperature will rise 20-25 degrees on that given day!

Customs

Hi,
OK, I live in the country of the immigrant, Canada. Which is OK, we have much diversity. BUT, when people immigrate here, they should have to leave their dumb-ass customs behind. Like, a religion, don't eat pork, it bugs me, but that kind of thing is up to you. Women wearing these head-to-toe dresses, 'cause in THEIR country, they can't show their faces. Well, maybe that damn thing is obstructing their vision too, 'cause you're not in your goddamn country anymore, and it's not a custom in ours!

Cut the crap, you idiots. Next thing is that someone will come here and say it's a custom in their country to rob liquor stores. What then? Make it legal?

Friday the 13th

What is with this? It's a day! I don't know about you, but I'm terrified of Wednesday the 27th. Friday the 13th is nothing. I heard a segment on the radio this morning: don't go on a first date on Friday the 13th. I did just that, Friday the 13th of June, 2003, then I married her on the 16th of July in 2005. How about Saturday the 16th? Is that a bad day too?

Stop with these dumb-ass superstitions!
