again...

Hi,
Same as last week, bus riders. When I go home from work, the bus is usually pretty packed, like people have to stand. But there's always one or two idiots that sit at the isle seat, and their backpack takes up the window seat. That's just total ignorance. Like, I don't mind standing on the bus, but what about the old lady that just got on? And then there's the extra space when there's that one extra person standing instead of sitting in the seat. I've even seen the bus not stopping at stops because the people waiting wouldn't fit inside the bus. I've been the person waiting for the bus when it passes by. It kinda angers you in the summer, but when it's -20 outside it's infuriating!

All because of the ignoramus who took up an extra seat with their bag...

bus riders

Hi,
It's been awhile since I've complained about the bus, but today I thought I'd comment on the bus riders.

Why are they so eager to get on the bus? Like, the other day, I was getting off the bus, with about 30 other people, and there were probably another 20 waiting to board. While all the people were still getting off, all the ones that were waiting to get on started to crowd around the door! So it was pretty much impossible to avoid bumping into someone while I was getting off. Do these people think the driver will drive away if they don't do this?

So, when I do bump into someone on my way off the bus, is it my obligation to apologize? It was their own stupidity that caused me to bump into them, so I don't think so.

pilots

Hi,
I work near the Ottawa International Airport, at a shop that fixes parts for private airplanes. So, I'm dealing with pilots all the time. And, seeing the prices of airplanes, and every little part of the airplane, and all the yearly recertifications that have to be done on these parts, I've come to the logical conclusion that about 99% of these guys are filthy rich. But one thing, it's not as maddening as it is funny, is how cheap these guys are. They blow upwards of 100 grand on their planes in an instant, but they bitch and moan about a few extra dollars on their bill.

I just want to tell some of these guys where to go. Like, if they didn't want to spend money like this, get a new hobby. Stamp collecting isn't that expensive, is it?

January Weather

* NOT A COMPLAINT *

Hi guys,
Wow! Splendid! Spectacular! January 5th today, and no snow, temperatures hardly ever below 0 this year. Businesses that thrive on the cold weather, ice, etc. are complaining, but one thing I don't complain about is unseasonably warm weather in January!

They say it's global warming. The only thing I'm worried about is how hot the temperature will be in 6 months time. We'll worry about that when it happens. For now though, bring on the heat!
