former job

Hey,
If you don't know by now, you do now! I quit my job, so now I can finally complain about it without the fear that the wrong eyes will read it.

OK, first of all, I didn't mind it at all. The first problem though, since I started in April of 2006, my responsibilties have increased about 3 times, but my salary never went up a cent. I think I was doing a good job there, I knew everything about the business, especially after 1 year! So how about a little something extra?

One complaint per week though. I have alot more to complain about this job, but another week.

"say something in portuguese"

Hi,
Yes, I speak another language. But, what makes me mad is when people (losers) find out. "Wow, you speak Portuguese? Say something to me in Portuguese!" OK, WHY? Why do people do this? Would you like to carry on our current conversion in Portuguese? I thought we were doing just fine in english. Or do you doubt me that I actually do speak another language? In which case, you've just insulted me.

So, if I were you, I'd just steer clear of that all together. I'll probably say something, but very insulting.

giving away clothes

This is a good idea. I like to think that most people, after they grow out of their clothes, or get tired of them, whatever happens, give them away, right?

This got me thinking the other day. People buy clothes, use them, give them away, then somebody else buys them at a used store, wears them for awhile, and gives them away to a used store... and the process keeps going. But the manufacturer who makes clothes is still producing clothing, and people buy new clothes, use them for awhile, then give them to a used clothing store...

Now, it seems to me, that by about the year 2040, the world will be so full of clothes that something drastic will happen.
