chewing on the phone
Good afternoon,
I like having call-answer, because if people want, they leave a messagewhen I'm not home, but if it's not important, they don't have to. I'm pretty laid back about the whole call-answer thing. One thing that really bugs me though, not just on the answering machine, but on the phone too, is people eating while talking. In front of someone, it's not polite to talk with your mouth full, but why does this "rule" not apply when you're talking to them (or leaving a message) on the phone?
I guess when your phone rings when you have your mouth full of food, then is the ONLY time it's even remotely OK. If you're going to call someone though, wait until you're done eating!
