lunch

Hi,
I recently got a new job at a very large company. I used to work at a small company, with only 4 people. When lunch time came, we all ate at our own desks. Fine. But, at this new place, several people have lunch at the same time, and their group of friends would re-unite at lunch and eat together. That's all fine and good that you want to be with your friends, but you're eating. Like, it's kind of gross, socializing while eating.

Dinner parties are a bit different. I don't try to talk while in someone's presence, because I'm afraid of some half chewed meat coming out with a phrase. Drinking among them is always good though.

That's my two cents this week.
