the bus

The bus system here in Ottawa is pretty good, getting to most destinations in the city in reasonable time. But, the bad part is, it costs 3 bucks to ride. Now, one of the reasons they give for charging these enormus fees is "low-ridership."

Well, the other day on the bus I spotted an advertisment on the bus, for "free downtown parking on the weekend." For your car... If they complain about low ridership, don't advertise for free parking! That's got to be one of the stupidest things I've ever seen!

What the hell were they thinking!? That's like going to the bus station, and seeing a sign "it's faster to take the train, so... see ya later."
