applying for jobs

Hi,
I've been applying for a few jobs lately, and realized, the employer treats you like shit, yet you still kiss his or her ass. Like, if they do decide to call you for an interview, it's at their earliest convienience.

Imagine the other way around? Like, you say, "well, if I decide I want to work here, I'll give you a call. I'd like to thank every business that would like me to work for them, but only my potential place of work will be called..."

chewing on the phone

Good afternoon,
I like having call-answer, because if people want, they leave a messagewhen I'm not home, but if it's not important, they don't have to. I'm pretty laid back about the whole call-answer thing. One thing that really bugs me though, not just on the answering machine, but on the phone too, is people eating while talking. In front of someone, it's not polite to talk with your mouth full, but why does this "rule" not apply when you're talking to them (or leaving a message) on the phone?

I guess when your phone rings when you have your mouth full of food, then is the ONLY time it's even remotely OK. If you're going to call someone though, wait until you're done eating!

job again

Hey again,
Well, I guess this is the last "my-former-job-sucked" entry. There are, after all, other things to complain about.

Communication. That was one of the boss' main faults. Which is why, partly, I said last week that he wasn't a "boss". He knows his stuff, but doesn't know how to deal with people. There were SEVERAL occasions where no one knew what the others were doing. He would say one thing, his wife would say another. Which brings up a whole other question; it's bad enough that they didn't communicate at work, but don't they communicate at all?

Anyway, next week.

the job

Hi,
Alright, number 2. When you're a boss, NEVER hire your wife. My boss was a decent guy, but not boss material. He hired his wife, which, in the long run, will save you a few bucks, but in turn, he lost both of his experienced co-workers because of that blunder on his part. Because, his wife was the Admin Assistant, but figured, since she was the boss' wife, she was boss when the real boss wasn't there. Wrong again, bitch.
