elections
Hi,
I've been kinda lazy with these posts lately. But today, I want to spit out some complaints about elections and voting. This bugs me, 'cause when we vote in a guy who makes all these crazy promises, then of course breaks most of them. Then the next election comes around a few years later. So people, even the ones that voted for him, say "we gotta get this liar out of office." And it seems like everyone is against the person, and doesn't want to vote him/her back for another term. But somehow, inexplicably, they get voted back. Either the guy is rigging the election, or (what I think), people are spineless, and even though they've been saying how much this politician sucks, and doesn't deserve to be in office, they suddenly change their mind when they get to the polling station, and think, "well, they're doing an ALRIGHT job, so I may as well vote for him again."
The majority of people are chickens. They can't deal with change. If you want proof, look at the States. How do you think this guy got in twice in a row? Too bad he can't run again, because even though his rating now is like 20%, my money would be on him to win again. You know why? Spineless voters who are afraid of change.
